Lutherlyn Events & Retreats (2026)
Throughout the year Lutherlyn hosts a wide variety of both day and overnight programs. There are retreats and events for kids, youth, adults, and families.

January 2026
3-4 - Summer Staff Reunion: The 2025 Summer Staff are invited for time to catch-up!
16-18 - Winter Retreat: for 4th-12th graders (campers will be divided by age groups and stay in cabin with cabin leaders from the summer staff). GAGA ball in the snow, Bible study, the bouldering room, songs, worship, friends, indoor and outdoor games, lots of your summer camp favorites, and fun in the wonderful winter weather! (Registration Required)
20-25 - Quilting/Crafting Retreat: Come and join us for a fun-filled weekend (optional arrival as early as Tuesday) of quilting/crafting/reading/relaxing/creating. It's a great time of fun and fellowship that's very popular with quilters, scrapbookers, and other crafters. (Registration Required)
31 - Saturday Safari: Saturday Safaris are a great way to spend a Saturday! They are designed for families and small groups. Dress to be outside. (Registration Required)
February 2026
1 - REGISTRATION OPENS FOR SUMMER CAMP
20-22 - Grown-Up Winter Retreat: A fun weekend at camp just for grown-ups. Campfire, tree tapping and maple sugaring, Agape Feast/Worship, games and conversation by a fire, crafts, and lots of camp fun just for adults. Must be 21 or older. (Registration Required)
28 - Maple Sugaring Saturday Safari: This Saturday Safari features winter tree identification, tapping a maple tree, collecting sap, and observing the evaporation process. (Registration Required)
March 2026
6-8 - Winter Family Camp: This winter weekend getaway is perfect for families with a wintery mix of fun, faith, and fellowship. (Registration Required)
24-29 - Quilting/Crafting Retreat: Come and join us for a fun-filled weekend of quilting/crafting/reading/relaxing/creating. It's a great time of fun and fellowship that's very popular with quilters, scrapbookers, and other crafters. (Registration Required)
28 - Intro to Blacksmithing Class: Learn the art of Blacksmithing in the Woodland Forge at Lutherlyn. All materials are supplied and classes are taught by master blacksmith, Flavius Brinsfield. (Registration Required)
27-29 - Nature Nerds Retreat: This adult only retreat will enjoy a relaxing and educational weekend together geeking out over all of the awesome things in Nature at Lutherlyn! (Registration Required)
April 2026

25 - Intro to Blacksmithing Class: Learn the art of Blacksmithing in the Woodland Forge at Lutherlyn. All materials are supplied and classes are taught by master blacksmith, Flavius Brinsfield. (Registration Required)
25 - Spring Work Day: Calling all volunteers to help get camp ready for CampBlast and Summer Camp. No skills required. Lunch provided. Please RSVP.
May 2026
9 - CampBlast: Join us for a day of FUN that highlights all that Lutherlyn has to offer. The best part.... EVERYTHING IS FREE! There will be special summer camp discounts for NEW campers & for registered campers who bring friends who are NEW to Lutherlyn! Join us for a GREAT day at camp! No registration is needed. Just show up with all your friends, family, neighbors, and anyone else looking for a fun, free day.

1-12 - Summer Staff Training: Each summer our staff members participate in an intense 13 day training program to prepare them for summer camp, and summer campers. You can learn more or apply to join us easily online.
7 - Trinity Pines Lemonade: As a thank you for our Trinity Pines Club members we host an annual banquet prepared and served by Chef Lisa and our Summer Staff members.

21-23 - Grown-Up Camp: Our Grown-Up Camp includes all of the fun and excitement of kid camp with some relaxation, fellowship, and "extras" for grown-ups (Must be 21 or older). (Registration Required)

8-13 - Crafting Retreat: If you've ever thought you need a vacation just to get some of your craft projects complete...this is the perfect opportunity. You bring the project supplies and we'll take care of all the food, lodging and provide great opportunities for fun and fellowship. Please note that this Crafting Week begins on Wednesday. (Registration Required)
12 - Saturday Safari: Saturday Safaris are a great way to spend a Saturday morning! They are designed and open for families of all sizes and shapes, youth groups, scout groups, and any interested parties. Dress to be outside. (Registration Required)

17, 18 - Woodland Quilters Quilt Show: Enjoy a weekend display of quilts and quilting in the autumn splendor at Lutherlyn. This show is a non-judged exhibit of the art of quilting. (No registration necessary)

24 - Family Halloween Fun: Enjoy Halloween fun at camp with games, crafts, s'mores, a Halloween kids Carnival, and trick-or-treating. (Registration Required)
28 - NWPA & SWPA Rostered Leaders Day of Rest & Renewal: A much needed day of rest and renewal for the rostered leaders of the Northwest Pennsylvania and Southwest Pennsylvania Synods of the ELCA. (More details will provided as this date approaches.)
November 2026

17-22 - Crafting Retreat: Come for a weekend designed to provide a stress free opportunity to complete some of those unfinished crafts you want to give as Christmas gifts. (Registration Deadline: November 11)

December 2026
4-6 - Advent Family Getaway Weekend: Enjoy the start of the holiday season decorating cookies, singing carols and playing games with your family amidst the wonder of winter at Lutherlyn. The Family Advent Festival is included in this great weekend at no additional cost. (Registration Required)
5 - Plunge!: Join us to for this great fundraising event! Spectators can stay warm by the fire while enjoying hot chocolate - just our "plungers" get wet! (No registration is required.)
