We Pray.

Amazing as it sounds, human beings are able to talk directly to God, the creator of the universe! Not only that, but we can expect to be heard when we do it! Living in a world where people in power are almost impossible to speak to directly - did you ever try to call the President? - the idea of actually talking to God is almost hard to take seriously. Yet for thousands of years faithful people have been talking to God daily. Prayer is a very important part of a Christian's life. One day Jesus' disciples asked him to teach them to pray. Jesus responded to their request by teaching them what we now call the "Lord's Prayer". What does Jesus want us to learn from the way he prayed? How, when and where do we talk to God? What do we say? What can we expect? We'll investigate these questions and more as we explore this summer's theme: We Pray.
